Lovable Founder Series London: An Evening at Mosaic Soho
"People were not just talking about ideas. They were building them."
The Idea That Walked in the Door
On the evening of 28 May, Mosaic in Soho welcomed founders, creatives, students, and educators, each at different stages of building and creating, for the Lovable Founder Series London. Supported by Kimolian Academy Communinty and Capital City College Group, the event was designed to foster more than passive participation, creating a space for meaningful conversations, shared learning, and new connections.
The evening was hosted by Eleni Lialiamou, Lovable Ambassador and founder of Kimolian, who guided attendees through a series of discussions and insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, and building with purpose.
From Conversation to Something Real
Lovable provided the platform and credits on the night, giving attendees the opportunity to build and experiment alongside the conversations. The evening also featured Shuli Yu, founder of Yush, who shared her experience of building a company, offering an honest account of the challenges and lessons along the way. Her reflections helped set the tone for the discussions that followed.
One attendee came in thinking about the challenges young people face. By the end of the evening, they had started building NOVA, a superhero universe concept, in just over an hour. What struck them was not the speed, though the speed surprised them. It was what the speed revealed.
"It reminded me that sometimes the biggest barrier is not technology. It is giving ourselves permission to get involved and start."
That feeling repeated itself across the room. A shared bills app with a working dashboard took shape. A tool for parents to track and document their child's needs, generating reports to support CAMHS meetings, moved from idea to prototype. A CV builder that adapts itself to the job description came to life on someone's screen.
All of it in a single evening.
What the Night Actually Felt Like
Conversations moved through the room and people kept building. What kept coming back when attendees reflected on the evening was the same thing: it felt easier than expected to actually begin.
"People were not just talking about ideas. They were building them."
Kimolian Academy Community and Capital City College Group supported the event on the night, helping ensure everything ran smoothly and that attendees had the resources and support they needed to get started.
Part of Something Bigger
The Lovable Founder Series continues to grow, and evenings like this offer a glimpse into its impact. People who may never have considered themselves builders are creating and launching projects, while ideas that once existed only as thoughts are taking shape as tools that address real-world challenges.
The distance between having an idea and turning it into something tangible is shrinking, changing how people think about what they can create and contribute.
Kimolian is pleased to be part of that journey.
