    The Situation

Curious about AI. Not sure where it fits.

The owner of D&J Glassware — an independent online retailer — had genuine interest in AI. They'd heard the conversations. They sensed it was relevant.

    The day-to-day reality was full:

    - Managing marketing, customer communication, and an online store simultaneously - Limited time to experiment with tools that might not work - No clear frame for where AI would actually be useful

The question wasn't whether to start. It was: where does it actually fit, and how do I start without wasting time I don't have?

    What We Did

Start with the business. Not the technology.

The fastest way to make AI irrelevant is to introduce it as a transformation. The fastest way to make it stick is to connect it directly to work that's already happening.

Map the actual workflow first Not a set of tools to demonstrate — a conversation about how the business actually worked. Priority areas came from that conversation:

    - Researching sector trends and customer behaviour - Drafting and refining marketing copy - Improving the structure and presentation of the online store - Testing ideas quickly before committing time

Work inside the actual tasks No demos disconnected from real work. Every session used the business owner's actual content, their actual store, their actual questions.

AI acted as a sketch partner. Human judgement decided what stayed.

Build confidence through visible comparison Different prompts. Different wording. Different layouts — side by side. Seeing options made decisions concrete. Hesitation reduced. Each session, the owner was more capable than the last.

    Outcomes

    • Business owner using AI independently for real tasks
    • Marketing copy improved
    • Online store structure improved
    • Confidence to continue and expand AI use
    • That last outcome is the one that matters. The goal was never dependency on a consultant. It was genuine capability — to keep going after the sessions ended.

    In Their Words

"From the outset, Eleni's approach was both insightful and practical, which was very refreshing. I was introduced to AI and shown how I could use various AI tools in my business. The sessions were very enjoyable and the enthusiasm was infectious. I now feel enabled to take things further and would certainly recommend this to anyone seeking to embark on their AI journey."

    Why It Matters

AI becomes useful when it connects to real tasks.

Confidence grows through doing — not through training. When a business owner can see AI helping with work they were already going to do today, something shifts.

Curiosity + real application + visible results = capability. Not a one-day event. A grounded process that builds on itself.
