CPO Track and Women in Product UK: Prototyping with Lovable at Nando’s

Product leaders, a fireside chat and a lot of good food from the Nando’s kitchen. That was the evening CPO Track and Women in Product UK put together at Nando’s in Putney, London, with Nando’s UK & IRE.

Our founder, Eleni Lialiamou, a Lovable Ambassador Alumni, joined to share how product teams can use Lovable to test ideas, build prototypes, share them with their development team and gather early user feedback. The audience was a mix of product executives and product managers, with a strong turnout from Women in Product.

What Happened at the CPO Track and Women in Product UK Event?

Namrata Sarmah, Founder of CPO Track and Women in Product UK, organised the evening, and it was a vibrant one. Guests ate from the Nando’s kitchen, and the Nando’s team were part of the event itself, making drinks, welcoming guests and taking the photographs. That set the tone for the rest of the night.

Then came the fireside chat, a first for the organisers, who had not tried the format before. Ritu Soni and Fran Calvert talked through their career journeys, and the conversation moved from there to promotions, balance, family life, the move from operator to founder, and raising funds. Guests heard how each of them has managed, reflected on and kept thriving in the paths they have chosen.

How Can Product Teams Prototype Faster with Lovable?

From there, the evening turned to building. Eleni’s session was about getting from an idea to something people can react to. Lovable lets a team build a prototype quickly, share it with the development team and put it in front of users early, while the idea is still easy to change.

That fits the wider discussion, which was about good product practice. Tools like Lovable are lifting the constraints teams used to work under when bringing ideas to life, so a team doesn’t have to wireframe every journey first. It can build straight away, in an environment where it has full control, while working within and across the team.

The product managers in the audience met all of this with real interest and excitement, particularly from the Women in Product community.

Why Evenings Like This Matter to Us

An evening like this only happens because of the people behind it. It was wonderful to see Nando’s host both communities, and we’re grateful to Namrata Sarmah and the CPO Track and Women in Product UK teams, and to the Nando’s team, for bringing so many great people together.

For us, it also sat close to our own work. Helping product teams use tools like Lovable to turn an idea into something they can test is a regular part of what we do at Kimolian, and an evening with people who care about good product practice is where that work comes to life.
