Closing the Gap Between Your Work and Your Proposals

"Previously I would spend a whole week on one proposal. Now I can do it fast, make it look competitive, and speak directly to them with their own branding." — Luz Jaimes Poley, Founder, Latam Business, A Cleantech Business Consultancy

In three sessions, Luz went from week-long PowerPoint builds to faster, more immersive proposals personalised for each prospect and built at a fraction of the time.

    Summary

Luz runs a specialist consultancy helping energy tech companies enter Latin America. Her clients are highly technical, and she needed proposals that matched their sophistication without spending a week on each one. In three sessions with Kimolian, she built that from scratch using Lovable. She also left with something she hadn't expected: a new business opportunity.

    The Work Behind the Work

Luz works at the intersection of cleantechs and international business development, helping innovative technology companies find their footing in Latin America. Her clients are strong on R&D and lighter on marketing. Arriving with a generic pitch deck wasn't going to cut it.

She had tried PowerPoint and Canva. Hours spent on layouts, images, and copy, and the results still didn't reflect the quality of her work. She found Kimolian through a live training session, saw AI-assisted proposals being built in real time, and immediately recognized what was possible.

The problem wasn't effort. It was the gap between how good her work was and how it looked on the page.

    The Challenge

Every proposal meant starting from scratch 12 slides minimum, every slide a decision, and up to a week of work before anything reached a client. Generic decks didn't land with technically sophisticated buyers who knew what quality looked like. And every pitch needed to feel genuinely built for them, not adapted from something else.

As Luz put it: "If I'm going to send something that I did in Canva, I don't know if it's going to work. You need to come with a proposal that speaks directly to my customers and looks a bit like… them."

    Our Approach

We didn't start with tools. We started with what Luz already had her existing proposals, her business context, and a clear sense of how she wanted to come across.

    1. Making sense of the problem We used her existing materials to extract the structure and language that was already working. AI surfaced patterns and organized her thinking. Luz made the decisions about what mattered. The output was a content brief that captured her offer clearly — in her own words.

    2. Giving the idea a body Using Lovable, we turned the brief into a clickable, branded proposal — hero section, "why us", case study results, offer. For a new client pitch, Luz pulled directly from the client's own website and branding. It was live and shareable within the session.

    3. Learning through comparison Rather than chasing a perfect version, we generated multiple options different colour treatments, layout variations and made decisions by comparing them. The learning came from the contrast. By the third session, Luz was generating and evaluating versions on her own.

    4. A new opportunity, spotted along the way with something real to share, Luz approached client conversations differently. She also noticed that the technically strong companies need help with their own marketing material. A new service direction emerged from the work itself.

    Outcomes

3 sessions to go from zero to building independently ~1 week saved per proposal 2 live projects built: a client proposal and a portfolio site she completed on her own 1 new business opportunity: marketing support for cleantech companies entering Latin America

    In Luz's Words

"This would take me ages to build otherwise. Previously I would spend a whole week doing one proposal — it just slows you down. Now I can do it fast, make it look competitive, and speak directly to them with their own branding."

"It's going to be transformational for me, working as a solopreneur it’s hard as you have many hats and this is going to help me to reach more customers and in a fraction of the time. I didn't think it was going to be possible to be trained and be able to create the proposals that I dreamed in an interactive training, I’m very pleased and grateful to Kimolian (Eleni) and I’ve started to use Lovable to help members of my family professionally with creating portfolios."

    What's Next

Luz is refining her approach, deepening her skills, and finding new ways to apply what she's built. The work is ongoing and so is the learning.
